Women in Fil Doré strongly believe that in order to completely heal past wounds we all have to learn someday to find the "grace in all our past falls".

We stand up together in solidarity and partnership to help one another become the strong, brave, courageous, brilliant and independent business women we all truly are.

Most women endure pain silently due to economic dependence or because of cultural, social, moral pressure including our own religious beliefs.

Abuse always leaves invisible scars. These scars are often unseen by the outside world but what is even more challenging is to shine a light on them from our OWN INNER SELF.

Despite the painful journey of the experience, the quiet voice of our REAL SELF always steps forth with a RESILIENT AND COURAGEOUS HEART.

Our MISSION is to THREAD JOY and SOLIDARITY between women going through financial and economic abuse.

We are here to help women that have courageously decided to free themselves from abusive relationships but find it hard to reach total financial freedom because they must face major obstacles.

We believe that TOGETHER we can all THRIVE and OVERCOME STRONG EMBEDDED STIGMAS such as the ones found within the social and legal aid systems, including those connected to separation, divorce and others that hinder putting an end to an abusive relationship with family members.

FINANCIAL ABUSE often times CONTINUES AFTER SEPARATION and the EFFECTS CAN BE EVERLASTING.

Women who have taken the tough and sometimes life-threatening decision to physically leave their abusers find themselves further enmeshed in multiple administrative and legal difficulties which can often prevent them from moving forward financially.

Unfortunately, the social and legal aid currently available sometimes neglects and even negates the hardships and reality many women face, especially those considered "wealthy" for whom the restrictive, unrealistic, and often simplistic requirements are of little to no help. Often leaving them with no support and guidance to face their urgent needs.

These women end up physically, mentally, and socially drained and sometimes have no other choice than to go back to their abusers because of economic and psychological dependency and moral (i.e., religious) and social pressure.

WE

Help women, especially in Switzerland, to move through guilt and confusion by helping them navigate through the local administrative, social, and legal quagmire. Part of this assistance includes guidance on how to process the extensive paperwork they must undertake while still under a fragile mental state caused by their scathing experience.
Encourage women to voice their pain but most importantly to voice their joy of obtaining financial and emotional freedom.
Inspire them to share their life stories and motivate them through their process of reconstruction.
Help them deal with debt, alimony claims and file opposition to administrative and legal decisions.
Share motivational and inspiring personal stories of daring women who have overcome and now thriving, because we believe that by working together and sharing our experiences, we also help other women overcome financial abuse.
Promote and guide women in obtaining economic and professional independence by providing our platform to launch their self-made products/businesses (business plan).
Provide them with guidance on how to draft their CV’s, search for work and network development.
Encourage women to work constantly on both their INNER WORTH (spiritual growth) and their OUTTER JOURNEY OF SELF ACCEPTANCE AND CONFIDENCE (Fashion & Style).

VOICE OUT NARCISSISTIC ABUSE

Although Narcissistic Abuse is experienced by both men and women, this abuse is much easier to perpetuate by men and often silenced and accepted by women and society because of cultural and religious beliefs that remain deeply embedded in our society.

We want women to recognise this type of abuse and voice it out to help them heal and thrive and to prevent more abuse.

We want to create awareness within the female youth, education, governmental, social and religious institutions in Switzerland to help them understand this type of abuse and adapt their services and aid consequently in order to treat efficiently victims' urgent demands and needs.

VOICE YOUR PAIN

SILENCE

Sadly, many women have been culturally, socially and religiously trained since childhood to remain silent in an abusive relationship and to suffer in that silence.

Fil Doré helps women voice the pain and informs young girls on manipulative behaviours and patterns in order to help them recognise and avoid falling into an abusive relationship.

VOICE OUT FINANCIAL ABUSE

Many women are the main caretakers of the home and family, and often times their access to money is constantly controlled by their abusive partner or family member.

A woman who is a victim of financial and economic abuse is placed into the confining position of being either financially dependent on her abuser or being eternally exploited (indebted and financially broke).

We help women reconstruct their financial freedom giving them foresight on how to become financially and debt free.

VOICE OUT STIGMA OF DIVORCE

Most women are culturally and religiously educated and encouraged to accept their own abuse in order to save their marriage.

Many mothers fight with society and their own negative thoughts of being a single mom. These women often must face a long and arduous healing journey as well as the stigma that comes along with a single woman starting over.

Fil Doré wants women to question these stigmas, to understand where they come from and why they need to overcome them.

We encourage women to share their beliefs (whether religious or cultural) and challenge them to voice out the Stigma of failure that divorce and separation still signifies in their lives and our today's society.
